About the event
What can you expect from Club T1D?
Each session is interactive, age-appropriate and designed to feel engaging - not clinical - with a strong focus on real-life application. Over the term, the participants will complete a "Skills Passport" as they work through each session.
Families are also part of the journey, with simple take-home activities that support communication, understanding and confidence at home.
Club T1D focuses on three key areas:
Competence
Practical, everyday diabetes skills - so they know what to do, when it matters most.
Confidence
Emotional resilience and self-belief - so they feel in control, not overwhelmed.
Connection
A sense of belonging - so they know they’re not the only one navigating this.
Cost: This is a FREE program thanks to the generous funding from Telethon!
