Which brings us to a very special announcement.
This year's amazing result heralds a sensational milestone.

Cumulatively, the Flametree Wines Luncheons have now raised...
more than $1,000,000
in support of the Family Centre!

Yes – the Flametree Wines Luncheon has now raised
one million, fifteen thousand, three hundred and twenty-four dollars!

To Rob Towner – we cannot thank you and Flametree Wines enough. Your foresight about what this event could achieve, and your ongoing commitment are truly extraordinary. For this, you have our undying gratitude.

Without these funds, we simply couldn’t continue our work – it’s that vital. We are incredibly grateful for your partnership and the difference you are making in the lives of countless individuals.
Thank you, Rob.
Thank you to our presenters, performers, and entertainers for delivering unforgettable moments.
A huge thank you goes to our two guest speakers, who kindly and courageously shared stories illustrating the impact of type 1 diabetes.
Firstly, to Amy Twist – thank you for your courage and generosity in sharing your story. We know that it can stir up painful memories, and yet you still kindly agreed to share. Thank you for using your experience to support others as one of our amazing mentors – and for being such an inspirational ambassador for the program. We are so proud, and so grateful to have you involved in our ground-breaking work!

To Dr Joey Kaye, thank you for shedding light on the often ‘invisible’ side of life with type 1 diabetes. Your words reminded us – in such a relatable, deeply moving way – that managing this condition requires more than just insulin if we want to prevent the challenges from defeating people or robbing their lives of joy and meaning.
To Matt Milford, thank you for lending your amazing voice, guitar and laid-back charm to the afternoon. You added a touch of magic to a riverside setting that was already spectacular!
To Tim McMillan, our master of ceremonies, thank you for keeping the day flowing with such warmth and ease.
To Jon Pinder, thank you for the belly laughs and brilliant banter – we may never hear tales of Bali holidays in quite the same way again…

To our venue and Champagne sponsors – you helped us create something truly indulgent!
To Fraser’s, thank you for hosting us in one of Perth’s most iconic and picturesque locations. What a stunning backdrop for such a meaningful occasion. A great spot to dine so indulgently indeed!
And to Off the Vine – thank you for adding (fine) bubbles in our day! You brought extra sparkle to an already joyful celebration, and we loved it!

To our ‘Friends of Flametree’ premium table holders – we are so proud to be supported by such highly regarded individuals and organisations. Thank you! Your sponsorship of this event shows your commitment to fostering positive change, and giving back to the community. We sincerely appreciate it.

To our generous auction item donors – thank you for giving so willingly. Your generosity and kindness mean the world to us. Your items created a truly irresistible catalogue – we are so fortunate to have your support.
To all who bid – whether online or in the room – thank you! Your enthusiasm made the auctions a great success – you really made our day!

And to Andrew Cooper – our auctioneer extraordinaire – what can we say? Your time, passion, and expertise elevate this event every year. In your capable hands, our fundraising was even more effective – and a whole heap of fun! Andrew – we are so grateful for all you do.

With this goes a huge shout-out to our wonderful volunteers who assisted throughout the event. Thank you for everything – your hard work, dedication, and your smiles throughout the day. You are the backbone of this event, and we are endlessly appreciative.

And finally, to those who made a pledge on the day – your kindness will leave a lasting legacy, and you have helped us beyond measure.

Your support helps us walk alongside those impacted by one of the most complex and challenging chronic conditions of our time. And for that, we are deeply and sincerely grateful.
