Having to self-isolate has changed the way we do life right now. Even though so many elements of normal every-day life are on hold, birthdays still happen and parties can still happen too. Perhaps you'd like to do something a bit different this year and host a fundraiser for the Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre. We rely solely on individual and community support to operate, your support helps to change the lives of the type 1 community. We would love for you to consider us as your chosen charity. Facebook Birthday Fundraisers are an excellent tool for fundraising for a cause close to your heart. Young children
Our youngest members of society are finding it difficult to understand the current changes to our lives and will probably be the hardest hit with the disappointment due to cancelled birthday parties.

Some party entertainers have moved into the online entertainment space to accommodate for changing times. These are hassle-free parties where all the virtual planning is already done for you, ready to go with a unique link that you can share with friends to set up your party.
Drive By Parade
Organise a drive by party parade to show your child that people are still thinking of them on their special day. Give your friends parents notice so that their children can prepare banners and decorate the car then organise a time so that your child can see them all in succession. Play some music, have party popper and whistles and get the atmosphere going!
