At the Family Centre, we're excited to step into the new year with the first edition of Tribe Talk for 2019! This edition is jam-packed with events and programs especially for you, including our brand new Schools Education Workshops, our Dogs for Diabetes event, lots of summer fun for kids, teenagers and adults in the type 1 tribe and some great reading from Amy Rush in Clinic Chat.
We launch our huge new program, Drive your Diabetes, offering young people aged 18-25 four substantially subsidised appointments with our diabetes educators thanks to Regent Motors. You'll also read about our spectacular luncheon at Leeuwin Estate with Telethon, hear a message from our CEO Bec Johnson for Diabetes Awareness Month, and nut out your Hypo Plan with Clinic Chat!

The Family Centre is on the road visiting GP practices, hospital clinics and pharmacies to raise important awareness of the needs of people with type 1 diabetes and the Family Centre's vital services. We have plenty of events for people of all ages coming up - register now for our Metabolism Information Night, our Winter Wonderland community event, Kids in the Kitchen, our Latitude excursion and Diabetes Dinners!
