Modest Price Change for Appointments with Amy Rush & Beck Newton

Since first opening our doors in 2015, it has been the goal of the Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre to offer the very best type 1 diabetes support for all West Australians. We believe that people impacted by type 1 diabetes deserve the highest quality support delivered by people with deep-understanding and knowledge of type 1.

We also know that type 1 diabetes can be an expensive condition to manage. As a non-profit our goal is to provide accessible services to as many people impacted by type 1 diabetes as possible.

We are all feeling the impact of rising cost of living pressures and our private clinicians are not immune to these growing costs. We work with our clinicians to regularly review clinic fee structures and services available.

This ensures that the costs of providing quality clinical services are balanced with the Family Centre’s mission of offering accessible, life-changing services and support for the long term.

After discussion with our clinicians, prices for diabetes education and dietetic clinics with Amy Rush and Beck Newton will be subject to a modest increase from 1 October 2024.

As many of you will know, Amy and Beck are both Accredited Practicing Dietitians and Credentialled Diabetes Educators who offer a unique type 1 diabetes specialist service. Their unique skillsets means that you great value for money when you come in to see them.

Therefore, from 1 October, we will be introducing Concession Pricing for Diabetes Education and Dietetic Services at the Family Centre. For anyone with a valid concession status (Health Care Card, Pension Card), prices will not increase. Concession pricing will therefore be:
