About the event
In this workshop, your children will be captivated by the Bottlephone, made out of recycled plastic bottles that are pumped up with air and how the Thongophone shows how different lengths of pipe can produce different notes – the longer it gets the lower the note goes. Using buckets, boxes and even kitchen utensils, Kaboom shows that you don’t need expensive equipment to play music – just a bit of creativity! Participants will learn the basics of bucket drumming as Kaboom shows them how to make their own beats and grooves out of the simplest of objects.
Parents are welcome to stay for morning tea and a cuppa while their kids are making music!
