Her interest in type 1 diabetes began when her brother was diagnosed at a young age. Since then, Amy has dedicated her career to supporting people with type 1 of all ages to better understand their blood glucose patterns and feel more confident making day-to-day management decisions. She has become a highly regarded and award-winning clinician in the field.
Amy’s clinic is a judgement-free space where your goals, lifestyle, and priorities guide the conversation. Her aim is to help you feel informed, capable, and in control of your diabetes management.
Amy commonly helps people with:

Beck sees patients in in person at Stirling (Perth) and Busselton as well as via Telehealth (Australia-wide).

Beck’s appointments attract Nurse Practitioner Medicare rebates for everyone with a Medicare card. That means you don’t need a referral or a GP Chronic Conditions Management Plan (CCMP) to claim a rebate for most appointments.

However, if your appointment is for dietetic care only (for example, nutrition management without diabetes education or eating disorder nutrition support), a GP CCMP or Eating Disorder Treatment Plan (EDTP) is still needed to access a Medicare rebate. If you don’t have a GP CCMP or EDTP and you are covered for Dietetics, your Private Health Insurer may issue you a rebate.
