Real strategies for real life with type 1

We know there’s a world of difference between knowing the theory and navigating the 24/7 reality of living with type 1 diabetes. Our T1 Bootcamp is here to help you close that gap.

Designed and led by our amazing team of Credentialed Diabetes Educators, Bootcamp is an immersive two-day program built on action, community and compassion - providing an environment where you can dive into the practical skills, learn from experts, hear from others living with T1D and personalise strategies that actually fit your life.

Stop just managing and start thriving. Build the skills and the confidence to handle whatever T1D throws your way!

What is t1 bootcamp?

Our T1 Bootcamp is an intensive two-day workshop designed to bridge the gap between foundational knowledge and real-world application of type 1 diabetes self-management. It provides a collaborative, action learning environment that supports you to master practical skills, develop personal strategies and build the confidence you need for long-term, sustainable self-management.

Whether you embrace type 1 technology, are curious about switching to pumps or CGM, or prefer to manage with daily injections, T1 Bootcamp has you covered.

T1 Bootcamp run over two consecutive Saturdays
from 8.45am to 4:30pm.

Suitable for participants 16 years and over.

In person Workshop 1

We deep dive into the core of type 1 diabetes management: insulin, carbohydrate counting and how to manage blood glucose levels on a day-to-day basis.

In Person Workshop 2

We apply the knowledge from Workshop 1 to build your confidence across a range of  real-life scenarios: exercising, eating out, stress management, alcohol intake.
