Bec brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to her role as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at just two years old, she has lived with the condition since 1992. This lived experience, combined with her professional qualifications, gives Bec a distinctive ability to understand the challenges of managing type 1 diabetes from every angle.
Bec holds degrees in nursing and diabetes education, as well as agraduate certificate in counselling. Her diverse expertise allows her to provide comprehensive support—not just for the medical management of diabetes but also for navigating the emotional complexities of living with a lifelong condition.
