Telethon Community Cinemas

Are you ready to volunteer for the 2021/2022 Telethon Community Cinemas Season?

Telethon Community Cinemas has made a truly remarkable contribution to the WA community, raising vital funds for kids and families in need over the past two decades. We are delighted to announce that the Family Centre is a charity beneficiary for the upcoming season and would be thrilled if you would consider volunteering your time, skills and talent to support the success of the iconic Community Cinemas in its 21st year.

Volunteering with Telethon Community Cinemas for the Family Centre will allow you to have fun under the stars, connect with like-minded people and make a difference in the lives of kids with type 1 and their families.

This is a terrific fundraising opportunity for our type 1 tribe, and an opportunity for you to give back by volunteering!

Get Involved!

  • At the end of each shift, you will receive a free pass to the cinema!

  • Make friends, meet new people.

  • Learn new skills, gain work experience.

  • Help build community spirit.

  • Telethon Community Cinemas ask that you help one night per fortnight. That's only ten nights over the five-month season.

  • Every volunteer that completes 10 shifts receives a vote to nominate their charity of choice. The more volunteers that complete 10 shifts, the more funds allocated to the Family Centre!
