Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as a young adult, Benjamin is passionate about helping to create a world where no one diagnosed with this condition feels like they must navigate this journey alone. Where people know from day 1 that with the right supports and knowledge, they can live a full and rich life with type 1 diabetes.

His commitment is to lead the Family Centre's provision of unique education programs, supportive connections, inspirational role models, friendly clinical care and action-packed camps and events to help people impacted by type 1 diabetes to live the life of their choice.
