Gifts in Wills
Community Fundraising

You can create a legacy by leaving a gift in your Will to the Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre.

Including a gift in your Will for the Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre is an empowering way of creating long-lasting change for the type 1 community. Thanks to generous gifts from our donors, we have been able to make a difference in the lives of children, adults and families impacted by type 1 diabetes by offering leading-edge programs, digital service delivery, and a model of care that is unique in Australia.

When you include a gift in your Will for the Family Centre, you can create a life-changing legacy which can help transform diabetes care for generations to come.

The impact of your gift

After providing for your loved ones in your Will, you may have the opportunity to reflect on the causes and organisations that are meaningful to you, and consider including a legacy gift.

Including a gift in your Will (sometimes called a bequest) means you have the opportunity to create a legacy, and be a part of the life-changing work of the Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre. Your gift can help to ensure the very best care is available for people living with type 1 diabetes, and their families, now and into the future.

To find out how to leave a gift to the Family Centre in your Will, or for more information about ways to give, areas of support, and the impact of your gift, please contact us.

You can be sure that whatever gift you choose to leave, 100% will be directed to improving the health trajectories of Australians living with type 1 diabetes.

We recommend that everyone obtains expert legal advice when making or amending a Will
